Typically, lip blush can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years. This varies depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and how well you care for your lips after the procedure. Yearly touch-ups are recommended to keep the color fresh. The pigment can be affected by the use of anti-aging, exfoliating, or anti-acne products on the area, and unprotected exposure to UV rays.

Yes! We will work together to find the perfect shade for your natural lips and skin tone. Shades can be completely customized. Keep in mind that lip blush is typically a two-step process to see the full color results you desire.

The area may be slightly swollen for a day or two and this is normal for the lip area. They will be vibrant for the first 3 days and then begin to settle down, softening and looking very natural. Once healed, the color will soften and lighten by 10-30%. Over time, the color will continue to lighten and fade. You will be provided with an aftercare kit with everything you need and instructions on how to care for your lips. Healing time is quite quick and peeling will begin around 3-5 days later. Make sure to avoid spicy foods/swimming/sauna/direct sunlight and any makeup products other than healing lip balms.

The consultation typically takes 2-3.5 hours from start to finish. This includes consultation, mapping, anesthesia, color selection, and tattooing. We use a topical numbing cream to pre-numb the area and then continue to apply a numbing product throughout the procedure to keep you comfortable and numb!

If you are prone to cold sores, we recommend calling your doctor and getting a prescription for an antiviral medication, such as Valtrex, for preventative measures!

Yes! Lip fillers and lip micropigmentation are friends and work beautifully together! However, you will need to wait 8 weeks before or after getting lip fillers to get your lips looking plump.
